Digital Picture Editor with GIMP free editor

Digital picture editor might be pretty expensive, if you can't afford to purchase software, you can still find free software to create and edit you digital picture. Some of this software is developed by individuals, and some is feature limited or an earlier version of a more advanced program. In some rare instances, there are no strings attached, but most often you will need to provide information to the company by registering, or endure ads or "nag" screens.

One of the most popular digital picture editor is GIMP. It is a popular open-source image editor originally developed for Unix/Linux. Often lauded as the "free Photoshop," it does have an interface and features similar to Photoshop. Because it's volunteer-developed beta software, stability and frequency of updates could be an issue; however, many happy users report using GIMP for Windows without significant problems.

The GIMP is a powerful and stable open source image editor tool that allows you to edit your images and create digital scrapbooks. You can even design your own digital scrapbook elements with it. It is very similar to PhotoShop on its capability and tools.

I had used The GIMP, PhotoShop, PhotoShop Elements, Paint Shop Pro, Paint.net and HP Creative, and other much simple scrapbooking software like “Scrapbook Blow out”, etc. I can honestly say that while The GIMP and PhotoShop software packages have very similar functionality and capabilities - they are very much different in price.

Digital picture editor has never been so easy and free.

digital picture editor web based version

Digital picture editor. So today, I ran into a cool new and innovative web app. It’s called Picnik, and it’s an online digital picture editor, with a twist.

It’s really been fun to play around with, and I think that it’s got some potential to be useful for a whole bunch of people.

Picnik allows you to edit things in a variety of ways. You can crop, rotate, resize, edit exposure, edit colors, sharpen, fix red eye, and auto fix. The auto-fix tool is cool, because it will take inconsistencies in the photo, and spruce them up a little big. But all of the other tools are pretty much self explanatory.

On top of just editing digital picture, you can do some other cool stuff with them.

The first thing you can do is save directly to flickr.

This is a really neat feature, so if you just need to crop a photo you can crop it with Picnik and then upload it right to flickr.

You can email the photo to anyone you’d like. You can print the photo, right from the app, which is something that just about everyone would expect from something like this.

Picnik is a great digital picture editor for simple and quick edits of any kind of picture, and the thing that I think makes it extremely useful, is the fact that you can send the photos to a crap load of sites, which I think is a major feature, that large programs like photoshop, can’t even do.
